The draft law on amendments to the Law of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic “On Elections to the Ali Majlis of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic” was discussed and adopted in three readings during the spring session of the seventh convocation of the Ali Majlis.

The draft law was submitted for discussion at the first reading on May 6, the second reading on May 13, and the third reading on May 26.

It was noted that the draft law was prepared in accordance with the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Approval of Amendments to the Constitution of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic” and was discussed by the Committee on Legal Policy.

Following the third reading, the draft law was put to a vote and adopted.
