Consequently, the Ali Majlis referred the matter to the Central Election Commission in accordance with the legislation.
....Upon reviewing the formal opinion and the attached supporting documents, the Central Election Commission established that there were sufficient legal grounds for the removal of the deputy's mandate and subsequently adopted a resolution to deprive Mr. Ali Feyzulla oglu Abbasov of his mandate.

On November 16, the first meeting of the Central Election Commission of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic with its new composition was held. The chairman, deputy and secretary of the Commission were elected at the meeting.
At the meeting of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic held on November 16, the new composition of the Central Election Commission of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic was approved. After that, the first meeting of the new composition was held in the administrative building of the Central Election Commission of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. Asim Aliyev announced the first meeting of the Commission with the new composition and Chingiz Hasanli was unanimously elected the chairman of the Central Election Commission.
Chingiz Hasanli noted that the Commission will take the necessary steps to hold the elections to the Supreme Assembly on the basis of democratic principles and protect the electoral rights of the citizens, and will take the requirements of the legislation and the interests of our state and statehood as a basis.
Later, Ramil Orujaliyev was elected the deputy chairman of the Central Election Commission, and Orkhan Bagirov was elected the secretary of the Central Election Commission.
The Spring Session of the Ali Majlis (Parliament) of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic concluded on 31 May. Over the course of the Spring Session (comprising eight plenary sessions, ten meetings of committees and two meetings of commissions), parliamentarians enacted three laws (one law and two amendments to the law) and eleven resolutions on a range of topics.
Furthermore, the Spring Session of Ali Majlis was notable for the discussion and approval of the Government's report, the adoption of a law approving the implementation of the budget for the autonomy for 2023, and the hearing of the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic's report.
During the spring session, the parliament approved the appointment of the new Prime Minister of the autonomy by considering the submission of the President of Azerbaijan. Additionally, during this session, the Ali Majlis (Parliament) of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic prepared and submitted amendments to the 'Law on Media' to the Milli Majlis (Parliament) of Azerbaijan via a legislative initiative. This initiative was subsequently approved by the deputies of the national parliament and signed by the President of the country.
In accordance with the Constitution of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and the Internal Statute of the Parliament of the Autonomy, Ali Mejlis convenes twice a year, from 15 September to 31 December for the Autumn Session and from 1 February to 31 May for the Spring Session.

The chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Ajdar Aliyev opened the event and spoke about the invaluable services of National Leader Heydar Aliyev in shaping the statehood traditions of the Azerbaijani people and developing the important elements of the ideology of Azerbaijanism. It was stated that many bright pages of the modern history of Azerbaijan are undoubtedly connected with the name of Heydar Aliyev and his large-scale and multifaceted statehood activities.
Ajdar Aliyev gave detailed information about the role of Heydar Aliyev, the architect and founder of our state, the wise leader of our people, in the modern history of Azerbaijan, and the successful reforms implemented in the direction of democratic and legal state building.
