The Spring Session of the Ali Majlis (Parliament) of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic concluded on 31 May. Over the course of the Spring Session (comprising eight plenary sessions, ten meetings of committees and two meetings of commissions), parliamentarians enacted three laws (one law and two amendments to the law) and eleven resolutions on a range of topics.

Furthermore, the Spring Session of Ali Majlis was notable for the discussion and approval of the Government's report, the adoption of a law approving the implementation of the budget for the autonomy for 2023, and the hearing of the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic's report.

During the spring session, the parliament approved the appointment of the new Prime Minister of the autonomy by considering the submission of the President of Azerbaijan. Additionally, during this session, the Ali Majlis (Parliament) of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic prepared and submitted amendments to the 'Law on Media' to the Milli Majlis (Parliament) of Azerbaijan via a legislative initiative. This initiative was subsequently approved by the deputies of the national parliament and signed by the President of the country.

In accordance with the Constitution of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and the Internal Statute of the Parliament of the Autonomy, Ali Mejlis convenes twice a year, from 15 September to 31 December for the Autumn Session and from 1 February to 31 May for the Spring Session.
